Bloodvine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This modest-sized vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 37 feet (11.3 meters) and growing as high as 754 feet (229.8 meters).

It takes 6 months for the red stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 2 inches (5 cm) and remain soft and fleshy.

The very thick, rough leaves reach up to 1.1 feet (33 cm) in length. They are either lilac, or blood red with lime patches, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the vine produces balls of small washed-out blue flowers.
