Aqua Hazel Blossom

Flower type: Annual (Stores water in its stem)

This large flower grows up to 3.2 feet (97 cm) tall. Its red stem is thin, and the miniature, black leaves are wide with rounded edges. 30 leaves grow at the base of the stem.

Dozens of small flowers grow in bunches along the stem. The flowers are 20 cm (7.9 inches) wide, with petals that are turquoise on the edges and hazel at the center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 38 petals. They detach easily.

It has a delicate scent that smells like something putrid, and it has copious amounts of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird.
