Climbing Crimsonvine

This short bine is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 16 feet (4.9 meters) and growing as high as 126 feet (38.4 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 4 months for the moss green stems to mature, by which point they can reach a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are soft and flexible.

The spear shaped, sticky leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are gold on the edges and intense red at the center, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the bine produces lots of average purple flowers.
