Cliffpine
Tree type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This small tree grows up to 3 meters (9.8 feet) tall and lives for over 3,000 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 3496 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.
It has a narrow, straight trunk covered in cracked, yellow-brown bark, and inside, the very dense wood is mahogany-coloured.
The excessive amount of branches trail down across the ground, with thousands of twigs covered with thick bunches of large, moss green needles. The needles themselves are resistant.
In late summer it produces medium-sized, sky blue aril (seeds with fleshy covers).
The roots are fine and grow in a large web, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.
Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with patches of undergrowth between them.
It is suitable for making strong rope
All parts of the tree are edible.
