Cliffhanger Vine
Flower type: Annual (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This short flower grows up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. Its orange stems grow from the base of the plant in bunches of 4 and are very thick and straight, and split into numerous branching stems at the top, and the giant, orange leaves are stiff, pointed with smooth edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the stem.
Each stem splits 1 to 5 times; a single small flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 1 cm (0.4 inches) wide, with petals that are cream on the edges and intense blue at the center. The flower head is largely flat with 34 tightly layered round-tipped petals. They detach easily.
It has a strong scent that smells like wet dog, and it has very little pollen, but can cause allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also visited by some specific types of insect.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
It is very rare outside of a particular area.
All parts of the grass are edible.
It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
