Aquaflora
Tree type: Deciduous (Stores water in its leaves)This average-sized tree grows up to 17 meters (55.8 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 521 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a slender, wonky trunk covered in paper-thin, cracked, yellow-brown bark, and inside, the very dense wood is black with white speckles.
The tangled mess of branches trail down to the ground and are covered with large amounts of clammy, large, perforated leaves with serrated edges. The leaves themselves are solid bright green with blue patches.
In late summer it forms medium-sized, grey, shelled seeds.
The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.
Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with clear space between them.
It is suitable for creating flexible, durable textiles
Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
