Grass type: Annual (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This large, gray grass grows up to 4 feet (1.2 meters) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in large clumps that are rigid.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, blue tuft.
During the late summer, it produces excessive amounts of pollen; it can can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
