Bloodfire Grass

This modest-sized, subtle orange or blood red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The needle-like stalks grow in thick clumps that are delicate.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, dark grey flower.

During the late summer, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of medium-sized grains.
