Bluevine

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This average-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 36 feet (11.0 meters) and growing as high as 41 feet (12.5 meters). It prefers to grow on trees.

It takes 19 months for the bright blue stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are thick and twisted.

The needle-like, smooth leaves reach up to 1.3 feet (38 cm) in length. They are sky blue and pale green, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces handfuls of average yellow flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of tiny berries.

It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
