Climbing Red Vine
Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This short vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 16 feet (4.9 meters)0.
It takes 5 months for the red stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and remain soft and fleshy.
The stiff, pointed, clammy leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are either red, or azure with dark grey dots, and have rounded edges.
During late spring, the vine produces hundreds of giant purple flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces copious amounts of tiny berries.
It is almost impossible to grow indoors.
