Copper Creeper

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This large creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 159 feet (48.5 meters) and growing as high as 64 feet (19.5 meters). It prefers to grow on trees.

It takes 5 years for the copper stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 8 inches (20 cm) and are flat and wavy.

The needle-like, clammy leaves reach up to 1.8 feet (53 cm) in length. They are dark grey and aquamarine, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces a thick sheet of average azure flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces lots of small seed pods.

It is extremely resistant to fire damage.
It is suitable for making strong rope
