Clinging Pine

Tree type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This short tree grows up to 4 meters (13.1 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 194 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has a thick, crooked trunk covered in waxy, black bark, and inside, the light wood is white.

The branches are very long and thin, covered with thick bunches of huge, yellow needles. The needles themselves are flimsy.

In late summer it produces tiny, crimson, shelled seeds.

The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with clear space between them.
