Clinging Conifer

Tree type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small tree grows up to 3 meters (9.8 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 342 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a long and flexible, curved trunk covered in delicate, cracked, dark green bark, and inside, the very dense wood is burgundy.

The abundance of branches trail down to the ground, covered with copious amounts of large, red or grey needles. The needles themselves are robust.

In late summer it produces medium-sized, red seed pods.

The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together, with clear space between them.

It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
