Vinebloom
Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This modest-sized tree grows up to 12 meters (39.4 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 418 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.
It has a slender, straight trunk covered in wrinkled, black with white speckled bark, and inside, the very light wood is mahogany-coloured.

In early spring, it produces a thick sheet of giant, gentle red blossoms with finger-like petals. They are sturdy and have a delicate scent that smells like sugar.
In late summer it forms tiny, silver, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.
The roots spread far and go deep underground, and overall the tree is sturdy and difficult to uproot.
Forests of this species feature trees spaced far apart, with clear space between them.
Their seeds have hallucinogenic properties.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
It coexists peacefully with other plants.
