Climbing Redwood

This large vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 424 feet (129.2 meters) and growing as high as 68 feet (20.7 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 5 years for the lime green stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 1.5 feet (46 cm) and remain soft and fleshy.

The thin, waxy leaves reach up to 2.5 feet (76 cm) in length. They are a shade of red that gradient shifts to vibrant green at the top, and have rounded edges.
