Curved Willow

Tree type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This short tree grows up to 5 meters (16.4 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 314 years old. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a flexible, curved trunk covered in thick, knobbly, light brown bark, and inside, the flexible wood is pale brown.

The excessive amount of branches trail down to the ground and are covered with thick bunches of soft, small, wide leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are found in turquoise, dark yellow and subtle orange varieties.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, gold, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.

The roots are shallow and widely spread, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with patches of undergrowth between them.

It can survive a very long time without water.
It is suitable for making paper
