Emerald Spore Moss

This yellow-green moss is commonly found growing in large clumps In rainforests.
It is short, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they are slow to spread and grow, and is overwhelmingly frail.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release thousands of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
