Clinging Coppergrass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This short, copper grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, tapering stalks grow in thin clumps that are durable and they overwhelm an area rapidly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a small, red flower.
During the mid-autumn, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of large grains.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
The leaves are bland but very healthy.
It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
It aggressively steals nutrients from other large plants (but not each other).
