Caramelvine

This giant bine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 1,712 feet (521.8 meters) and growing as high as 904 feet (275.5 meters).

It takes 46 years for the gray-green stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 1.3 feet (38 cm) and are rough and fibrous.

The very thin, sticky leaves reach up to 2.3 feet (71 cm) in length. They are light brown on the sides and caramel at the center, and have smooth edges.
