Bluevine
Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This modest-sized tree grows up to 40 meters (131.2 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 631 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has a long and flexible, wavy trunk covered in fine, ridged, black bark, and inside, the very hard wood is gray.
The branches trail down across the ground and are covered with thick bunches of leathery, miniature, long, narrow leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are either dark brown or blue, with dark grey dots.
In late summer it forms large, crimson, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.
The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is sturdy and rigid.
Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with clear space between them.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
