Velcro Grass

This short, grey or magenta grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very thick stalks grow in small clumps that are durable.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, vivid orange tuft.

During the late summer, it produces very little pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of giant grains.
