Silvervine

This colossal creeper is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 3,302 feet (1,006.4 meters) and growing as high as 502 feet (153.0 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 27 years for the silver stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 3.2 feet (97 cm) and are rough and fibrous.

The very narrow and elongated, rough leaves reach up to 1.1 feet (33 cm) in length. They are grey at the bottom and crimson with light grey zig-zags at the top, and have jagged edges.
