Coppervine

Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This average-sized flower grows up to 1.6 feet (48 cm) tall. Its pink-red stem is wispy and splits into numerous branching stems at the top, and the giant, brown leaves are wispy with tattered edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and a pair of leaves grow at the base of the flower head.

A single small flower sits at the end of each stem. The flowers are 38 cm (15.0 inches) wide, with petals that are generally copper; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour. The flower head is shaped like a tube made up of 5 raised, round-tipped petals. They are very delicate.

It has a weak scent that smells like sweat, and it has copious amounts of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is enjoyed by several specific types of insect.

It is suitable for making strong rope
