Azurevine

This short flower grows up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. Its brown stem is thin, and the tiny, emerald leaves are dark emerald on the underside and are fan-like with smooth edges. The leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

Around 70 large flowers grow along the length of the stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with solid yellow petals and an azure central disk. The flower head is largely flat with several raised narrow petals. They fall easily.

It has an overpowering scent that smells like rich perfume, and it has lots of pollen. It is pollinated by the wind, but is also particularly attractive to insects.
