Crimson Oasis

This average-sized flower grows up to 1.2 feet (36 cm) tall. Its faded green and cream stem is thin and straight, and the giant, subtle red and crimson leaves are wispy with smooth edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

A single small flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 9 cm (3.5 inches) wide, with solid slate petals and a subtle green central disk. The flower head is made up of many petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight dish. They fall easily.

It has a strong scent that smells like cheap aftershave, and it has lots of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also visited by a small species of bird.
