Peach

Fruit Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small fruit tree grows up to 8 feet (2.4 meters) tall and lives for up to 40 years, with the oldest known specimen being around 75 years old. It is very resistant to destructive insect infestation but susceptible to disease.

It has a flexible, slanted trunk covered in very thick, waxy, light brown bark, and inside, the very dense wood is white.

The branches trail down towards the ground and are covered with large amounts of giant, wispy leaves with rounded edges. The leaves themselves are grey on the edges and peach at the center.

In early spring, it produces many tiny, purple blossoms with shield-shaped petals with a tube-like floral cup. They are sturdy and have the faintest scent that smells like baby powder.

In mid-autumn it produces , long, tapering fruit. The rough olive skin is delicate and sweet and sour, and the very soft amber flesh is sweet and oily. The silver seeds are small and are scattered throughout the fruit.

The roots are shallow and grow straight down, and overall the tree is rigid and brittle.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with the space between filled with undergrowth.

It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
Their seeds have hallucinogenic properties.
