Lilac

Flower type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small flower grows up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. Its lilac stems grow from the base of the plant in bunches of 3 and are very thin and straight, and split into dozens of branching stems at the top, and the miniature, amber leaves are dark burgundy on the underside and are very thin with jagged edges. The leaves alternate on the stem from about halfway up, up to the flower head.

Each stem splits 4 to 10 times; a single giant flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 20 cm (7.9 inches) wide, with alternating petals of white and dark grey, with a violet central disk. The flower head is made up of many petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight sphere. They fall easily.

It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like warm milk, and it has a fair amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by a small species of bird, but is also visited by some specific types of insect.

It can survive a very long time without water.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
