Clinging Vineflower

Flower type: Perennial (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This average-sized flower grows up to 11 inches (28 cm) tall. Its copper stem is thick, and the miniature, lime leaves are thick with smooth edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

A single tiny flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 5 cm (2.0 inches) wide, with petals that are either brown or drab red, with a yellow center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 30 petals. They are very delicate.

It has a weak scent that smells like cheese, and it has very little pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind, but is also visited by one species of insect in particular.

It is suitable for making strong rope
