Bloodvine
Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This short bine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 10 feet (3.0 meters) and growing as high as 297 feet (90.5 meters).
It takes 9 months for the blood red and beige stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are rough and gnarled.
The very thin, smooth leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are drab orange at the bottom and slate with indigo dots at the top, and have ripped edges.
During late spring, the bine produces large amounts of average blood red flowers, and during the early summer, after flowering, it produces plenty of tiny fruits.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
