Bloodvine

This enormous vine is a very slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 1,743 feet (531.3 meters) and growing as high as 435 feet (132.6 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 31 years for the green stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 1.6 feet (48 cm) and remain soft and fleshy.

The wispy, smooth leaves reach up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) in length. They are found in blood red and hazel varieties, and have irregular edges.

During late spring, the vine produces lots of tiny beige flowers.
