Coppervine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This average-sized bine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 37 feet (11.3 meters) and growing as high as 60 feet (18.3 meters).

It takes 22 months for the copper stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are soft and flexible.

The circular, leathery leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are caramel and dark grey, and have tattered edges.

During late spring, the bine produces large amounts of giant caramel flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces lots of large berries.

It is suitable for use as a construction material
