Twilightvine

This colossal bine is a slow growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 2,179 feet (664.2 meters) and growing as high as 420 feet (128.0 meters). It prefers to grow on specific trees.

It takes 38 years for the yellow-green stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 4.3 feet (1.3 meters) and are thick and twisted.

The very thin, rough leaves reach up to 3.8 feet (1.2 meters) in length. They are purple and blue, and have serrated edges.

During late spring, the bine produces several average white flowers, and during the mid-summer, after flowering, it produces a handful of large fruits.
