Bloodgrass
Grass type: Annual (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This average-sized, red or blood red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The umbrella-shaped stalks grow in large clumps that are resistant and they are exceptionally hardy.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, purple tuft.
During the mid-summer, it produces a modest amount of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of small grains.
Several parts of the shrub have medicinal properties.
Once on fire, it burns very quickly.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
