Bluebell
Flower type: Perennial (Stores water in its leaves)This small flower grows up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. Its moss green stem is thick, and the miniature, yellow-green leaves are very thin with smooth edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.
Dozens of medium-sized flowers grow in a bunch at the end of the stem. The flowers are 5 cm (2.0 inches) wide, with each petal a slightly different shade of ashy blue. The flower head is shaped like a tube made up of 14 widely spaced, round-tipped petals. They detach easily.
It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like a newborn baby, and it has a modest amount of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind and is ignored by most insect species.
It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
