Copper Creeper
Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This small creeper is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 17 feet (5.2 meters) and growing as high as 742 feet (226.2 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.
It takes 4 months for the orange stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are rough and woody.
The long, narrow, fuzzy leaves reach up to 3 inches (8 cm) in length. They are lilac on the sides and copper at the center, and have jagged edges.
During late spring, the creeper produces several small lilac flowers, and during the mid-autumn, after flowering, it produces a modest amount of small berries.
The bark is frequently covered in moss.
It comes in 7 varieties, each with a different leaf colour.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
