Copperbell
Flower type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)This short flower grows up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. Its emerald stems grow in bunches of 7 and are thick and straight, and the large, copper and green leaves are finger-like with smooth edges. The leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.
A single medium-sized flower sits at the end of the stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with petals that are generally orange; each flower tends to be a variation of this colour. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 60 petals. They are hardy.
It has a scent that varies in strength that smells like freshly baked bread, and it has very little pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind, but is also visited by some specific types of insect.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
