Emerald

This emerald moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In marshes.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they are slow to spread and grow, and is extremely robust.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release millions of spores.
