Crimson Grass

Grass type: Annual (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This large, gray-green grass grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall. The stiff, pointed stalks grow in thin clumps that are durable and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, pale red puff.

During the early autumn, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of giant grains.

It is suitable for making baskets and the like
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if it falls or if its limbs are knocked off.
