Succulent type: Caudiciform (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)This massive caudiciform grows up to 26 feet (7.9 meters) tall. The stiff, pointed stem is pink or blue, and is covered in thousands of rigid amber spines. The straight, light grey trunk can grow to as much as 26 feet (7.9 meters) in diameter in the middle. Its emerald branches trail down towards the ground and start growing a quarter of the way up the stem.
The very large amounts of irregular-edged, slender, pointed leaves are solid lilac or brown, with magenta edges. They are flimsy, and detach easily.
It is very slow growing, taking 50 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with solid lime petals and a blue central disk grows at the top, reappearing once every 10 years. The flower head is made up of 7 petals; the lower layer of petals are flat, while the upper layers form a tight bowl. It has a strong scent that smells like warm milk.
The caudiciform's skin is thin, the aquamarine flesh is leathery, and the crimson sap is thin.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
The stems are covered in large spikes.
