Bronzebell

This enormous shrub grows up to 10 feet (3.0 meters) tall and lives for around 97 years. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has many very thick, angular stems covered in paper-thin, smooth, white with black speckled bark, and the wood inside is pine-coloured.

The branches trail down towards the ground that and are covered with large amounts of large, wispy, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are generally bronze, flimsy and rough.

In mid-summer it produces handfuls of giant, faded orange flowers with asymmetrical petals with a trumpet-shaped floral cup. They are very delicate and have an overpowering scent that smells like blood.
