Aquamarine Spike
Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)This enormous leaf succulent grows up to 138 feet (42.1 meters) tall. The thin stem is green, and is covered in thick sheets of flexible aquamarine spines. The slender leaves are found in bright orange, lilac and drab purple varieties. Sparse amounts of them grow on bulbous, yellow-green branches that are long and thin. The leaves are strong, and detach easily.
It is slow growing, taking 41 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with crimson petals that gradient shift to magenta on the outer edge. The central disk is copper grow at the top, reappearing once every 6 years. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 40 petals. It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like alcohol.
The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the slate flesh is waxy, and the caramel sap is thin and has hallucinogenic properties.
