Crimson Creeper

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This average-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 43 feet (13.1 meters) and growing as high as 88 feet (26.8 meters).

It takes 19 months for the cream stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 4 inches (10 cm) and are flat and wavy.

The slender, pointed, leathery leaves reach up to 10 inches (25 cm) in length. They are a shade of pink-red that gradient shifts to amber at the top, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces several tiny peach flowers.


It grows well in the sun and full shade.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
It actively smothers and kills off other plants.
