Copperstem
Succulent type: Stem succulent (Stores water in its stem)This enormous cactus grows up to 147 feet (44.8 meters) tall. It splits at the base to form 2 slender, pointed stems. Each stem is copper, and is covered in sharp spines.
It is steady-growing, taking 4 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with hazel petals and a yellow center grows at the top, reappearing once every 8 years. The flower head is shaped like a sphere made up of many raised, narrow petals. It has an intensely strong scent that smells like a damp log.
The cactus's skin is rock-hard, the grey flesh is soft, and the violet sap is thin.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
