Amber Moss

This amber moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In marshes, and On trees.
It is giant, growing up to 1.4 feet (43 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is slightly flimsy.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release hundred of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
