Copper creeper
Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This small creeper is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 13 feet (4.0 meters) and growing as high as 338 feet (103.0 meters). It prefers to grow on man-made objects.
It takes 10 months for the red stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are smooth and slick.
The spear shaped, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are turquoise and peach, and have wavy edges.
During late spring, the creeper produces large amounts of small copper flowers, and during the late autumn, after flowering, it produces lots of tiny seed pods.
The seeds are toxic to people but not to certain animals.
It is suitable for making paper
It can survive a very long time without water.
