Copper Spikegrass
Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its leaves)This average-sized, copper grass grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall. The very thick stalks grow in thick clumps that are resistant and they are slow to spread and grow.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, florescent orange spikelet.
During the mid-summer, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with copious amounts of giant grains.
It is suitable for use as a construction material
