Blue Pebbleleaf
Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)This huge leaf succulent grows up to 180 feet (54.9 meters) tall. The very thin stem is yellow-green, and is covered in handfuls of flexible bronze spines. The pebble-like leaves are generally ashy blue. Large amounts of them grow on wide, silver branches that are short stubs. The leaves are delicate, and do not detach easily.
It is fast growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a single flower with alternating petals of black and peach, with a purple central disk grows at the top, reappearing after 10 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is shaped like a star made up of several tightly layered, round-tipped petals. It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like damp.
The leaf succulent's skin is rock-hard, the copper flesh is smooth, and the turquoise sap is thin.
It only grows on the most fertile lands.
