Coppervine

This small bine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 20 feet (6.1 meters) and growing as high as 101 feet (30.8 meters).

It takes 5 months for the green stems to mature, by which point they can have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are smooth and slick.

The wispy, crispy leaves reach up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. They are deep blue at the bottom and cyan with copper lines at the top, and have wavy edges.

During late spring, the bine produces hundreds of tiny black flowers.
