Sunset Marsh Moss

This orange moss is commonly found growing in large clumps In marshes.
It is small, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is overwhelmingly delicate; it takes a lot of damage when trodden on.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release dozens of spores.

It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
It can absorb up to 20 times its own weight in water.
