Magenta Vine

Climbing plant type: Vine (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This large vine is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 310 feet (94.5 meters) and growing as high as 42 feet (12.8 meters).

It takes 6 months for the red stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 1.0 foot (30 cm) and are thick and twisted.

The asymmetrical, clammy leaves reach up to 2.3 feet (69 cm) in length. They are found in bronze, magenta and slate varieties, and have wavy edges.


It comes in 15 varieties, each with a different leaf colour.
The stems are covered in large spikes.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
